Cypress Pond Farms sits on more than 70 acres of pecan groves in Doerun, about 30 minutes from Albany. At the center of it is an eight-acre cypress pond that gives the place its name and its light. The barn came under new ownership in 2022, the cabins opened in 2023, and the property keeps growing every year.
You get 4,000 square feet of climate-controlled space, a 1,200-square-foot covered porch over the pond, and an outdoor chapel that seats your closest 180. The farmhouse tables and benches come with it. So do two nights in the suites and the Honeymoon Cabin, for the full-weekend couples.
